Like many of us I always loved drawing as a little kid. Then you stop, life takes over. For a while I didn’t believe I was that good at it, then I did, but didn’t do anything much about it.

Then in 2016 I made a conscious choice to focus much of my free time on improving my drawing and then learning modern tools. Embracing the modern digital tools we have these days inspired me. Working on an Ipad with both Procreate and Photoshop opened up creating art again for me. Using digital techniques and taking photo reference and 3D software reference has allowed me to experiment with potential stories and characters that otherwise would have been left knocking around my skull for years.

I mostly work digitally these days, as the IPad and the Apple Pen have become my go-to art medium, but I’m also known to break out the inks, pencils, and markers and do some practical work as well.
